From the quote to the next conversation

A useful follow-up starts with the history.

Illustrative example. This is not a customer result.

01 · What you already know

The deck wasn’t ready.

A hot-tub quote paused while the buyer finished their deck.

Follow-up for your approval

Hi Sam, when we spoke about the hot tub, you were finishing the deck. Has the timing changed?

If you’d like to revisit it, we can review access and check whether the original quote needs updating.

02 · A returning buyer

“The deck is finished now. What would you need to check access?”

Reply received · Automated follow-up stopped

History
Previous quote paused while the deck was being finished.
Suggested next step
Ask for current access photos so your team can review them.
Editable reply draft
“Thanks, Sam. Could you send a few photos of the route from the driveway to the deck? We’ll review them and let you know what else we need.”

Your team confirms technical suitability, availability, and current pricing.

How it works

We manage the follow-up. You take the conversation.

You work directly with Charlie, Porchlight’s founder, to prepare and monitor the run.

  1. 01

    Select and approve

We review five examples, agree a transfer method, and select the batch from your CSV or email history. Together, we check project status, permission, and recent activity. You approve the recipients, sender identity, exact messages, and timing.

  2. 02

    Run and hand off

We prepare personal follow-ups using the project history. When the reason for a pause is unclear, we ask rather than assume. We monitor replies and help organize the handoff. Tracked replies stop automated follow-up; your team reviews the draft and handles the conversation.

  3. 03

    Review the results

At day 30 from approved launch, we review delivery, human replies, agreed next steps, and reopened quotes. Declines and opt-outs are recorded separately. Any further service needs a separate agreement.

Who it’s for

A good fit for a small first run.

The pilot is for independent US sauna installers and hot-tub or swim-spa dealers with unfinished quoted projects.

You’ll need usable project history, permission to send the proposed follow-up, and someone who can handle returning buyers.

We exclude completed sales, known lost projects, opt-outs, and anyone already in an active sales conversation. If someone has recently contacted you elsewhere, tell us so we can update the campaign.

The pilot offer

One complimentary Recovery Run.

We’re selecting one business to help us test the service with a real batch.

What’s included

  • One business and location.
  • Review and preparation of up to 40 eligible projects.
  • Your approval of recipients, messages, sender identity, and timing.
  • At most two follow-up emails per project over two to three weeks.
  • Campaign monitoring and reply handoff support through day 30.
  • A final results review.

In return, you agree to give candid feedback and let us publish agreed aggregate results. We’ll agree the figures and wording with you. Naming your business or using your logo requires separate permission.

Your team handles sales conversations, technical advice, and updated quotes. We agree the scope before launch. The pilot ends after the final review; continuing is a separate decision.

Before you start

A few practical questions.

Will messages come from my own email address?

We show you the sending address and display name during setup. You approve them before launch. The pilot does not include sending through your personal Gmail or Outlook account.

Do I need to learn Porchlight first?

We prepare and monitor the run with you. You review the selected projects and messages, then handle conversations with buyers who respond. We show you how that handoff works before launch.

What if someone doesn’t want to hear from us?

Messages include an opt-out. Opt-outs stop further campaign messages, and each project receives at most two follow-ups. You can also ask us to pause the run.

Do you guarantee replies or sales?

We commit to the agreed campaign work and results report. Buyer responses and sales depend on the projects, timing, and subsequent conversations.

What happens after the pilot?

We review whether another batch or ongoing Recovery would be useful. Any further service has a separately agreed scope and price. There is no automatic subscription conversion.

What happens to our customer information?

Porchlight uses the project and contact information you provide to prepare approved follow-up, process replies, and report results. We agree the transfer method, access, and retention arrangements before receiving your batch. See our Privacy Policy for how Porchlight handles personal information.

Your first step

Start with five quiet quotes.

We’ll look at whether the history supports a useful follow-up before planning the full batch.

Book an intro first. We’ll arrange a suitable way to review your examples.
